Question: what is better to buy EE or I US Savings Bonds?
Answer: The two types are similar, but the I-bonds are indexed to the inflation rate. If you think inflation will rise, then I-bonds are probably a better choice of the two. Right now,
I- bonds pay a higher interest rate than EE.

Question: I purchased a $100.00 Series EE US savings bond in 1995 and would like to know how much it is worth today ?
Answer: You can get the current value of your savings bond from the treasury department website
here’s a link to their Savings Bond Calculator. You’ll need to know bond serial # and issue date (both printed on your bond).
